| Working Principle | 1. Blow-by gases (unburned fuel, combustion gases, and oil mist) leak past piston rings into the crankcase during engine operation, increasing internal pressure. |
| 2. The breather’s baffle first separates oil mist from the gases – oil droplets fall back into the crankcase via a return port, reducing oil loss. | |
| 3. The filtered gases pass through the polyester foam element to remove particulate matter. | |
| 4. When crankcase pressure exceeds the preset threshold (5–10 kPa), the pressure relief valve opens, releasing clean gases into the atmosphere (or recirculating to the intake manifold for emissions compliance). | |
| 5. The one-way valve closes when pressure is normal, preventing external dust/moisture from entering the crankcase. | |
